When the support technician asks you to download the viewer it will allow him to take control of your desktop to allow him to fix your problem.

When instructed, click the link below,
When offered RUN or SAVE or CANCEL - choose RUN
when it begins to install you may be informed that "The Publisher could not be Verified" and offered the choice to RUN or DON'T RUN - choose RUN
Your firewall may also report an attempt to gain access to your machine, which of course IN THIS CASE your should ALLOW
