Terms
and Conditions:(Scheme
closed for new members from 1/7/2009)
When
you join PC Life Support you are credited with 6 hours to
use during the year, for each PC or laptop that is included
in the scheme
If
during the year you need more time than what was purchased
on enrollment, you may buy hours in 3 hour blocks at the current
rate.
At
the end of the year, when you renew, your available hours
are restored to 6 per computer.
However
if you have bought additional hours and some of these are
unused at the end of the year, then the unused additional
complete hours are added to the new total for the next year.
You
can determine your outstanding hours by checking your latest
jobsheet, this will have a number of hours available at the
start of the visit, deduct from this the number of hours that
the visit actually took, noted in writing on the jobsheet.
It
may be a good idea, before your year expires, to do as some
folk do and choose to call in PC Life Support for an "MOT
Check and clean up" if they have unused base hours. This can
achieve a number of benefits - an annual check can reveal
problems before they arise, it can be an opportunity to improve
the speed of a slowing computer, and gives a chance to ask
"face to face", those little questions that may
have been bugging you.
